Surner Heating Fuel Programs

In recent years, the volatility of the energy markets has affected everyone on some level.  We at Surner Heating know all too well the ups and downs of the fuel oil market and have consistently offered fuel programs to help stabilize our customers' heating costs.   While there are no guarantees that a fixed price fuel program will save you money over the market price, most years our fixed-price customers have come out ahead at the end of the heating season.

"The programs described below are only available to our customers prior to the start of the heating season, which runs from September 1st to the following May 31st.  We send out information on specific program terms and enrollment period start and end dates in the spring or early summer each year."

Pre-Pay Fuel Program:

As the name implies, you purchase your oil in advance of the heating season at a fixed price.  The advantage of this program is that you know what your costs are going to be and you are immune from any price increases that occur over the course of the heating season.  The risk is that the market price drops below your contracted price during the season, a rare but not impossible occurance.

Budget Program:

Not everyone is in a position to pre-pay for the entire heating season, so we also offer our customers a 10-month fixed price budget program.   It can be a lot less stressful to make equal monthly payments versus having to come up with a large payment at the time of a delivery.  We are one of the few oil companies in the area that offers a fixed price 10-month program.  The payment plan begins in July.

Pre-Pay Discounted Market Price Plan:

With this program, you do not have to lock into a fixed-price program.  You put money into your account with us, and then at the time of delivery, your account will be billed for the gallons delivered at the market price less 15 cents per gallon.  Should your account run out of prepaid funds, you will be billed at the normal market price for the day of delivery.
